A Trout to Remember
After a long day of stubborn dry fly fishing with no action, I tied on a small black streamer and tossed it into the current. Boom, this one hit right away! The reel screamed as it tore off downstream, taking me all the way to the backing, jumping like crazy along the way.
That’s when I realized I didn’t have my net. I yelled for my buddy, who was 100 meters up the river. I’ve never seen him run so fast in his life. When he got there, we scooped it up and just stood there, staring. A huge brown trout, a mean-looking male with a hooked jaw and an attitude to match. What a fish!
Grayling Gold
Euronymphing for grayling? Hell yeah, man! These fish are straight-up beauties with colors that pop like a sunset on the water. Addictive fishing and pure eye candy.
Last Cast of Summer
Nothing like overthinking fly choices on what turned out to be the final summer day on the water. Perfect weather, good laughs, and memories made.
Big Bites Only
Throwing a mouse for migratory trout isn’t about numbers, it’s about ambition. No guarantees, but when it hits, it’s all worth it. Go big or go home!
Dialed In
When the gear’s just right, everything feels better. A solid setup, some quiet moments, and the promise of the next cast.
The Fat Lady of the Day
My first trout over a kilo this season, a thick beauty that slammed a booby fly on an ultra-slow retrieve. After a long day of endless bites but no fish landed, this one made all the patience worth it!
Ferdinan, the Familiar Face
Ferdinan’s been our summer companion, patrolling the same route day after day in the pond. This impressive trout became a familiar sight over the season, and after countless sightings, we both managed to catch him. While there are bigger fish out there, Ferdinan holds a special place in our memories
My Turn with Ferdinan
After countless summer sightings, it was finally my turn to catch Ferdinan. This big, impressive trout had been a familiar face all season, patrolling his usual route in the pond. A fish with history, and now, a story to tell!
Off the Grid
Mountains, mates, and a moment away from it all. Cheers to the simple life up north.
Last Day in Paradise
Side by side, taking in the final moments. Tomorrow, the chopper takes us back, but this place stays with us forever.
Peak Foolery
Acting like a clown at the top of the world. Sometimes the silliest moments make the best memories.
Home in the Wild
Tents pitched, camp set, and the mountains all around. Nothing fancy, just the perfect base for adventure.
Work Smarter, Not Harder
Why hike six miles when a chopper lets you pack the good stuff? Drinks, tunes, and heavy packs, no regrets.
Chasing Silver
Crystal-clear waters, tiny silver trout, and the perfect cast. Sometimes the smallest fish make the best memories.
King of the hill
Just 20 meters away, the true ruler of the highlands watches over his domain. A wild encounter to remember.
Endless Horizons
A drone’s eye view of Swedish Lapland, countless lakes, sprawling tundra, and the wild stretching as far as the eye can see. True wilderness.
Golden Hour Reflections
Me, my favorite rod, and a sunset that feels like magic. Moments like this are what it’s all about.
Small Stream Treasures
Tiny stream, wild trout, and big ambition. Watching these little gems crush dries in strong currents, pure joy on light gear.
Ghosts of the Fog
A summer night like no other, thick fog all around, wading in just 50 cm of crystal-clear water. Casting small streamers on long leaders, I watched huge brown trout create rippling waves as they chased. The stillness, the fog, and the power of these fish made it a night straight out of a dream.
Foggy Gold
Another beauty from the misty shallows. The fog, the clear water, and the thrill of seeing these trout chase streamers, it doesn’t get better than this.
Echoes in the Mist
What’s left of an old bridge, sticking out of the glassy water like a ghost. Fog rolling in, and the vibe? Straight up magic.
